As we known,Molded Case Circuit Breaker main function is protection device from overload current and short circuit.It also have a several attachment device for additional protection that we can combine with MCCB.

Circuit breaker is the one of important protection device when installing of electrical induction motor.This time i want shared some information about the major parameter that we need consider when applying Molded case circuit breaker(MCCB) for electric motor.

If we not selected the right MCCB for our electric motor application,it will effected to the system and it not running smooth and achieve our expectation.It will cause a additional costing for upgrading and repairing jobs.

Vacuum circuit breaker

As we know vacuum mean the the pressure is maintained below atmospheric pressure( unit : mm Hg ).So the manufacture made a research and development to design the vacuum circuit breaker based on current cannot jump in vacuum condition.

The circuit breaker maintenance is very important and it must added in  periodical maintenance schedule.Why it so important?It is because of their importance for routine switching and for equipment protection and person.

Production will stop if circuit breaker fails to operate because of a lack of preventive maintenance.The cost will rise for repairing jobs and it not good for business.We must avoid from this unwanted situation because of not done the circuit breaker maintenance.

The need for maintenance of circuit breakers is often not obvious as circuit breakers may remain idle for long periods of time. Breakers that remain idle for 6 months or more should be made to services to ensure it in proper condition and remove any dust or foreign material on mechanism and contacts. read more

This device is important in electrical wiring installation.It is a life guard device to protect from electric shock.Others circuit breaker only can detect the fault from over current and short circuit but cannot detect the current leakage.
