VDE stand for Verband der Elektrotechnik .It is the Association of German Electrical Engineers as known now by the name of Association for Electrical, Electronic &Information Technologies .

The VDE Testing and Certification Institute is a nationally and internationally accredited institution in the field of  testing and certification of electrical engineering devices,components and systems.

VDE tools is main equipment for electrician when perform their electrical works to avoid short circuit and unnecessary contact to each other of phase if circuit in live mode.All electrician must have a basic about VDE tools and how to use it.

This device is very common used for connecting cable to the electrical installation such as power distributor,instrument,automation,motor control and etc.

It is designed for easy install and remove for repairing or maintenance jobs.It also can avoid a cable broken or burn due to sparky if cable connection not tight.

Now in market it have many different types of cable lugs depend on our application and type of equipment.This time i want discuss about familiar types of cable lug for power termination,wiring for automation,motor control and consumer wiring. read more

Employees working in areas where there are electrical hazards shall be provided with, and shall use, protective equipment that is designed and constructed for the specific part of the body to be protected and for the work to be performed.

For electrical or maintenance persons,safety shoes is the one of important PPE ( personal protective equipment ) to avoid from serious injury such as electric shock.Please ensure our safety shoes suitable with electrical works because not all safety shoes have a ELECTRICAL HAZARD PROTECTION ( EH ).

Where insulated safety shoes is used as protection against step and touch potential, dielectric overshoes shall be required.It also protect from impact, compression, and puncture are the most common types of foot injury. read more

What is VDE screwdriver?

In electrical works, sometimes we have to do the work in the live circuit.So to ensure we are safe from electrical shock, equipment used must be appropriate to work in a live circuit.

I`m using a VDE SoftFinish®electric Screwdriver From WIHA.This is my favorite tool because it the high quality blade insulation is molded directly onto the blade and therefore guarantees safety when working on live equipment up to 1500 V DC or 1000 V AC.
