When motor or machine / equipment not function properly,we must perform troubleshooting task to rectify the problem.It easy if we have a lot experience.

But…Dont worry,I will explain detail step by step how to troubleshooting when it not in good condition.

Grounding resistance measurement

Grounding or Earthing is the compulsory device for electrical installation.It’s the end point for electrical residue when leakage happen on electrical circuit or installation.

Good grounding can make a different of current balancing in phase during electrical leakage and Residual Current Circuit Breaker will activate if current leakage value over the sensitivity.( 10 mA,100 mA,30 mA,300 mA).

To get a good grounding,we should make sure the resistance is minimum.For the best resistance value is “0 ohm” or less than 5 ohm.That why grounding resistance measurement is important because we need to ensure our grounding is good. read more

Induction motor fault finding

Induction motor is common application for domestic and industrial for machinery and production equipment.We can found electric motor in every where and should have a basic knowledge about how to troubleshooting or fault finding when we facing the motor breakdown.

If we not have any experience or not familiar with induction motor,we will face some trouble and if it’s fault finding done by un-experience person,fault finding task is very difficult and maybe can cause a serious damage or injury.It required knowledge and experience to trouble shooting and found the root cause for the problem.
