This post I would like to share a video How To Use Bearing Induction Heater.Normally when we dealing with bigger motor or pump bearing,it’s quite difficult to install bearing into shaft because a tolerance gap is small.If we use a bearing pusher to install bigger size bearing into shaft,it’s risky and probably percentage of bearing was damage is high.That why we must use bearing induction heater for more safe and easy bearing installation.

Transformer rating or capacity depend on the  limited of insulation temperature can stand for maximum load.The ratings can be up or down when we reducing a  core and copper losses.

To reduce core and cooper losses,we can improved the rate of heat exchange with proper cooling system or by improving quality transformer insulation that can stand for high temperature.

For larger transformer types,we can remove more heat with increased area for efficient cooling and increased volume of oil to absorb more heat to reduce the temperature. read more

Motor start and run capacitor

Application of start and run capacitor for single phase motor.

Why we applied a capacitor for single phase induction motor?The reason is to improve performance of motor by generate the rotating field.Design for this motor have a two ( 2 ) stator winding,and one of it is the auxiliary and is connected by a suitable capacitor size.

The capacitor increases the starting torque and the full load power as the current flowing through the auxiliary winding, de-phased by the capacitor, creates a rotating field.The voltage across capacitor usually higher than the mains supply.

The choice of the capacitance is usually empirically made on the motor. This is because of shuttle differences between motor manufacturers.As the torque and the power of the motor also depends on the reactive power of the capacitor. read more

After we completed the 2 stage process of troubleshooting ( 1.situation analysis & 2.problem solving ),we need to proceed the last stage ( 3.decision making ).Decision making is defined as the best option,conclusion or alternative ways for our solution to rectify the breakdown or machine problem.

Ok..for example,after we troubleshooting,we confirm the root cause is electric motor defected,there could be several alternatives in deciding how to repair overall system.The motor could be repaired,it could be replaced by the same model or an entirely new upgraded model could be substituted depending upon the operating condition of system. How to brazing a cooper tubing?

This is a common method for joining the cooper tubing.It is have been practice by all technical person around the world.Before we can brazing the cooper tubing,we must do the swagging process for make a diameter of cooper bigger than normal size.

Troubleshooting Technique part 1

To perform a troubleshooting tasks,firstly we must properly an understanding of problem solving and the overall concept of troubleshooting and repairing.It have a step by step technique or method to make a troubleshooting tasks more effective and achieve the target.

From my experience i made an observation about troubleshooting skills at my work placed and i recognized the several mistake done when perform the task.The major mistake always happen is a troubleshooter not analysis or find the root cause of a defect.

For example,when they found the machine cannot operated due to main fuse was blown,they only just change the fuse.They not make a analysis why the fuse is blown.Many reason or cause can make the fuse blown such as overload,short circuit or others.If we found the root cause,we can settle the problem without waste a time and expense for unnecessary matter.
